Now they have done it! Since 25nd May, the german government changed a law against computer criminality. Now it’s illegal to distribute, build and use software which could be used for attacking computers.
This means also that the evil tools like "nmap" will be removed from every linux distribution e.g. Ubuntu, SuSE … And what about firefox ? It could be a computer attack, when you access a webserver, without asking the webmaster. Im very curious about the new distribution releases … to see what have been removed from their repos.
In short:
If you own any hacker tool which "aim is to commit a crime"…
… you’re signing up for one year in jail or a hefty fine. For the german folks:
